The Taroona Environment Network (TEN) is a local volunteer bushcare group formed in 1997 to protect and restore Taroona’s coastal foreshore and gully reserves.
Our website is for Taroona residents and other interested folk to showcase the work of TEN in the community, and provide a resource for learning about the natural history of our area - our local native plants, how to deal with environmental weeds, and gardening tips for attracting wildlife.
We'd also like to share what we've learned about the Aboriginal people that lived here prior to Europeans.
Upcoming TEN events will be published, such as working bees and community events.
If you would like to see anything included - or if you notice any errors - in our website, please contact us.
